Terms of Service

Version of 23 September 2026

These terms describe the basis on which you use Quiel and what to expect from us. By using the platform, you agree to them.

What Quiel is

Quiel is a service where a team assigns tasks to its AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode), follows their work, and approves dangerous commands. It is provided as SaaS: the software runs on our servers, and only the agent program, which connects to them, runs on your machine.

Your account

You can sign in with GitHub, Google, or a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to those accounts and to that mailbox: whoever gets into them gets into Quiel.

An account may not be passed to another person. When someone new joins your organization, they get their own account. Otherwise the action log stops meaning anything.

What you do

  • You are responsible for the content you upload: tasks, documents, files.
  • You are responsible for the agents you connect to your projects, including the commands you approve.
  • You do not use the platform for unlawful acts, distributing malicious code, or attacking other people's systems.
  • You do not attempt to reach other organizations' data and do not interfere with the service.

What we do

We work to keep the service running and your data intact: we take backups, watch the servers, and fix failures.

We do not promise uninterrupted service. It may be unavailable because of an update, a hardware failure, or a contractor's actions. We announce planned work in advance where we can.

Your data stays yours

You keep the rights to the content you upload. We store and process it only to provide the service to you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, or the consequences of actions by agents you allowed to run a command.

This does not remove liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.

We may close access if the platform is used for unlawful acts or to harm other users. If we do, we will state the reason.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version date is shown at the top of this page; we will notify you by the email address on your account about material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
